Telecommunications/SATCOM Program Support SME

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum a High Risk Public Trust (T4) clearance
  • Minimum Experience: 7 years
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Provide subject matter expert support services within the telecommunications/SATCOM domain.
  • Ensures that the projects are successful and produce the required deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case, as well as provides status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and communicating across leadership.
  • Enterprise assessments of supplier – business strategy, engagement activities with suppliers.
  • Provides extremely high level of expertise on all assigned tasks in Business & IT related fields of computer software design and implementation, business re- engineering, enterprise modelling, strategic planning, EVMS, business planning and systems architecture plans.
  • Technical analysis and evaluations of commercial satellite services and emerging technologies (e.g. Non-GEO constellations, cloud-based ground stations).
  • Understanding and knowledge of SATCOM needs of the United States Space Force (USSF) Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) /Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), and other current and potential agency partners.
  • Provide assistance when they have highly complex technological inquiries, requests for technical analyses of requirements and suggest solutions.
  • Experience creating and providing deliverables that may include solution-oriented technical presentations, whitepapers, and supporting in-person meetings with agency customers.
  • Facilitating annual Program Management Review (PMR) Meetings with the vendors.
  • Weekly status meetings and reporting
  • Provide internal consultative acquisition assistance to support the formulation and generation of acquisition strategies, analyzing the various ways and means to acquire telecommunications/SATCOM services and products and recommend methods of optimizing the current telecommunications/SATCOM contract vehicles in use.
  • Knowledge of the commercial marketplace, identifying current and future opportunities, performing periodic market research and ongoing assessment of legacy contract arrangements.
  • Provide support to the telecommunications/SATCOM Program Office to ensure compliance with BIC reporting guidelines.
