Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing budgets, coaching, supervision, staffing, project management, management proficiency, process improvements, tracking budget expenses, employee-development, planning, and performance management.
  • Primarily responsible for accomplishing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, disciplining resources and communicating job expectations;  planning and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing policy and procedures; achieving operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Develop Program Vision, Charter, Delivery Approach, Timeline, and Delivery Roadmap
  • Help standup the lean PMO and define the structure along with the Operating Model, roles, and functions
  • Develop and execute integration strategy across the IT Delivery Partners and between IT and Business Stakeholders
  • Create and update Program reporting templates (Quad Chart reporting)
  • Prepare and provide weekly Program Updates to the PMO and EPMO Executives
  • Facilitate pre-planning stakeholder workshops to drive alignment
  • Develop and execute an IT strategic communications plan (e.g., Town Halls, Newsletter)
  • Refine and assist PMO in executing the notional 30/60/90-day Provision delivery plan
  • Create, manage, and maintain the program IMS and WBS
  • Track Program related risks and issues, identifying mitigation strategies and impact to the overall schedule
  • Develop IT OR plan to evaluate preparedness, track progress, milestones, and gaps
  • Facilitate and track decision-making
  • Provide programmatic integration support to organize and manage Provision and report progress to the EPMO
  • Establish and maintain integrated release plan
  • Revise, review, and update program Organizational Readiness Plans

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or Practitioner of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBok@Guide)
