GSA 8(a) STARS II GWAC # GS-00Q17-GWD2262 Award

eTelligent Group is a proud recipient of GSA 8(a) STARS II GWAC # GS-00Q17-GWD2262 in both the Constellations, I & II. This achievement enables us to support the total scope of information technology services and solutions within the STARS II contract. We have been providing these services and solutions to numerous federal agencies over the past 10 years. We are a small business who understands the GSA contracting environment and fully embraces the concept of industry partnership; not only with GSA, but with our customers and end users. The 8(a) STARS II GWAC offers access to highly qualified, certified 8(a) small disadvantaged businesses. The contract has a $10 billion program ceiling with a five-year base period and one five-year option. It is a competitive multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity set-aside small business contract. It is designed specifically to provide all federal defense and civilian agencies with an efficient, flexible way to order the full range of worldwide information technology services and solutions. These services and solutions include support for specific systems and applications, infrastructure, systems integration, information assurance, and related training and program management.

HUBZone Certification

eTelligent Group, LLC is pleased to announce its achievement of HUBZone certification by SBA. eTelligent is now eligible to receive HUBZone contracting opportunities, and will be included in the listing of SBA qualified HUBZone small business concerns. HUBZone designation assists federal agencies in meeting their small business contracting goals. The purpose of the HUBZone Program is to "stimulate economic development and create jobs in urban and rural communities by providing Federal contracting preferences to small businesses." These preferences go to small businesses that obtain HUBZone certification in part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone and maintain a "principal office" in one of these specially designated areas.

Recipient of BPA Award - DoD

eTelligent Group is a proud winner of another competitive BPA award from another prestigious US Federal agency. This BPA is a multi-year award to assist the DoD in running its mission critical operations. eTelligent team is partnered with the number 1 Federal Contractor as a small business prime & teaming partner lead to modernize systems & use common infrastructure, security and application services to leverage business systems and data repositories throughout the agency. It serves as mediator between service consumers (business applications) and data providers (typically legacy systems). The program will avoid the need to develop costly customized solutions.

CMMI Level 3

eTelligent Group is pleased to announce its achievement of CMMI® Maturity Level 3 rating, an upgrade from its previous level 2 rating.Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process improvement appraisal program. Administered by the CMMI Institute, a subsidiary of ISACA, it was developed at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). It is a capability improvement framework that enables organizations to deliver predictable software engineering results by following matured proven processes in the development lifecycle. At level 3 rating, the organization processes are appraised as well characterized and understood, and described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. It proves that the organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and has improved over time.

Recipient of BPA Award - IRS

eTelligent Group is a proud winner of a competitive BPA award from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This BPA is a multi-year, single contractor award to assist The United States Government in running its mission critical operations. eTelligent team will lead & support the program to manage a critical middleware infrastructure for implementing the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) by providing the software and integration services. The system allows modernized systems to use common infrastructure, security and application services to leverage business systems and data repositories throughout the agency. It serves as mediator between service consumers (business applications) and data providers (typically legacy systems). The program will avoid the need to develop costly customized solutions for each interface to data, application services, and security components.

Software AG Government Summit

eTelligent Group participates in the Software AG Government Summit “Efficient Agency IT Modernization Strategies”. The summit focused on driving efficiency across the public sector organizations. Those responsible for technology implementation and management are focused on maximizing available resources, from funding, to human capital, to IT infrastructures. eTelligent Group receives the GSA IT Schedule 70 (GSA # GS-35-0561Y). The largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government, GSA IT schedule 70 is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule, providing the federal government with direct access to products, services and solutions.

CMMI Level 2

eTelligent Group has received the rating of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 for development - the result of rigorous assessment by the SEI using the SCAMPI A appraisal method.

CMMI is a framework of industry best practices for improving the management, development, and maintenance of products and services. CMMI was developed by the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI), a federally funded research and development center. Benefits of using the CMMI include reduced cost and higher productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. CMMI is recognized as the standard of excellence in government and industry, and the U.S Department of Defense (DoD) recognizes CMMI ratings to be predictive of organizational performance.

8(a) certification - eTelligent is certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as a minority-owned, Small Disadvantaged Business under the SBA section 8(a)/SDB Business Development program. SBA created the 8(a) Business Development Program to help small businesses compete in the marketplace.

The 8(a) Business Development Program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.

Benefits of the 8(a) Program

  • Participants can receive sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing.

  • 8(a) firms are also able to form joint ventures and teams to bid on contracts. This enhances the ability of 8(a) firms to perform larger prime contracts and overcome the effects of contract bundling, the combining of two or more contracts together into one large contract.
