Nanette (Nan) Downing serves as an Execcutive VP and thought leader on enhancing corporate capabilities and the overall strategic direction with a long-term focus on transforming our customer success strategy and operations.

Nan recently retired from Senior Executive Service (SES) in the US Federal Government after 30+ years of transformative leadership at the IRS. After initially starting her federal career as a revenue agent, Nan held several key positions as an Executive at the IRS most recently serving as the Director, Identity Assurance in the Privacy, Government Liaison and Disclosure (PGLD) organization Office; Director of Small Businesses/Self Employed (SB/SE) Human Capital; Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Government Entities/Shared Services Tax Exempt and Government Entities (TEGE); and as Director, Exempt Organizations (EO) Examinations, TEGE.

Nan received numerous awards, promotions, and recognition throughout her career based on her exemplary leadership and results. In 2022, Nan was recognized by IRS Commissioner, Charles Rettig for her work on three programs: COVID 19 Legislation and Relief; COVID-19 Operations and Technology; and Secure Access Digital ID. She also received a Champion for Change award at the 2022 Service to the Citizens award ceremony for successfully leading the launch the Secure Access Digital Identity (SADI) solution accelerated performance testing, scaled infrastructure to accommodate approximately 50 million users, and deployed an enhanced interface to improve detection of potentially fraudulent activity.
