eTelligent Group Announces Nate Chen as Vice President of Strategy

We are pleased to announce that Nate Chen has joined eTelligent Group as Vice President of Strategy. In his new role with eTel, Nate will be responsible for supporting the executive leadership team with his GovCon growth experiences and networking in our journey to become a leading growth platform business. His focus areas will include both organic and non-organic growth over the next 3-5 years. In the near-term, Nate will support the growth office in leading industry partnerships, teaming, alliances, joint ventures, pipeline management and subprime business development. 

Nate brings over 8 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Prior to eTel, Mr. Chen was a Vice President at IMB Partners where he developed the government technology services practice as well as sourced the eTel investment opportunity.  

Nate joined IMB in 2021 as a Senior Associate and served as the Vice President of GovCon Growth. He has over five years of private equity and investment banking experience prior to joining IMB. Prior to IMB, Mr. Chen was an Associate at Enlightenment Capital where he focused on investing in the Aerospace, Defense & Government Services sector. Nate evaluated, structured, and executed private equity transactions including six buyout and add-on acquisitions and a mezzanine debt and minority equity investment. He also worked at Stephens Inc. as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer and Retail Group, and at Clear sight Advisors as a Summer Analyst from 2015-2018. 

Nate received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The College of William and Mary. 

Nate is a professional racecar driver competing in the Formula DRIFT PROSPEC series and finished 8/40 in the 2023 season. He also serves as a volunteer racecar driving instructor. He also enjoys karting, biking, and running. His favorite vacation spot is Miami, Florida. His Favorite Book is Contraband Cocktails: How America Drank When It Wasn’t Supposed To by Paul Dickson.
